The Holy Trinity C of E (VC) Primary School community believes in a full and enriching curriculum, with a wide and varied opportunities to ensure children create a plethora of positive memories during their primary school journey. We want to ensure children have been exposed to different cultures in many forms such as galleries, museum, theatre, live music and visits. In addition, encouragement is given to our pupils to have an influence in the local community and wider world, whether through charity fund raising events, enterprise projects or visiting organisations / businesses that have links to the school. The School Council play an important role in decisions about worthy causes and wider-curriculum events.
Since September 2022, Holy Trinity has broadened international links with schools around the world. Links with France and China are already underway.
At Holy Trinity we are fortunate to offer Forest school which has proved to be immensely worthwhile in developing team working skills and independence. Those who are unfamiliar with woodlands and green spaces can become confident in using them and this can form the basis of a life-long relationship with natural space crease in their self-belief, confidence, learning capacity, enthusiasm, communication and problem-solving skills and emotional well-being.
Rock Steady Music
We have in-school rock and band lessons, Rocksteady, for those who love making music – it is a fun way for children to be in a in a band, not only performing songs they love but also learning valuable life skills.
